Can I use plastic hooks instead of metal?+
Yes. If you want to reduce costs or if your products are very light, we can switch to plastic hooks. However, for electronics, metal hooks look more premium and durable.
How does it attach to the store shelf?+
We provide specialized plastic “power wing clips” or metal S-hooks that attach the cardboard unit to the standard holes on the side of a metal gondola shelf.
Can this unit also stand on the floor?+
The standard Sidekick is for hanging. However, we can design a hybrid version with a foldable base, allowing retailers to choose between hanging it or placing it on the floor/counter.
Is it strong enough for heavy cables?+
Yes. We reinforce the back panel (where the hooks attach) with a double layer of corrugated board or an internal glued sheet to prevent tearing under the weight of the products.
