One Plus Display is a factory-direct cardboard display manufacturer producing custom corrugated POP displays, retail packaging and multi-material display fixtures for brands, retailers and sourcing teams worldwide. We have operated our own 23,000+ m² plant in Dongguan, Guangdong since 2013, with a sales office in Shenzhen, and we handle printing, laminating, die-cutting, assembly and packing under one roof rather than brokering the work to third-party workshops.
This page is written for the people who actually place the purchase order: brand owners, packaging engineers, procurement managers and retail sourcing teams. It explains what we manufacture, how a real factory differs from a trading company, which certifications and retail audits we hold, how MOQ and lead times work, and how to move from artwork to a shipped display. One clarification before we start: One Plus Display is an independent point-of-purchase display and packaging manufacturer. We are not affiliated with any smartphone, display-screen or consumer-electronics brand.
What we manufacture
Our range covers the display types that carry most retail promotions, plus the packaging that supports them. Every format below can be customised for product dimensions, load, retailer rules and print finish.
- Cardboard floor display stands — free-standing aisle units, pop-up or multi-tier, for grocery, pharmacy, beauty and household goods.
- Espositori da banco e PDQ — counter units and PDQ trays for checkout, beauty counters and convenience formats.
- Pegboard and hook displays — pegboard panels, die-cut hooks and clip rails for accessories, sachets and small packs.
- Pallet displays — half-pallet and full-pallet units for club stores and high-volume promotions.
- Dump bin displays — bulk bins and gravity-feed bins for impulse and promotional volume.
- Sidekick and powerwing displays — aisle-end and shelf-edge units that add selling space without a new footprint.
- Standee and totem displays — large-format floor standees and totems for launches, cinema and event retail.
- Shelf-ready packaging — SRP, shelf-ready trays and custom retail boxes that go from case to shelf in one motion.
- Acrylic display stands — counter and showcase units in acrylic/PMMA for premium and cosmetics categories.
- espositori in PVC — water-resistant structures for chilled, outdoor and wet-area retail.
We also combine materials when a single substrate cannot meet the brief — for example a corrugated body with acrylic shelves, PVC header, or metal reinforcement at the load path. That integration is done in-house, so the structural design, print and assembly are not split across three suppliers.
Factory, not a trading company
The difference matters most after the sample is approved. A trading company forwards the file and waits; a factory owns the tooling, the print profile, the board grade and the quality decision. Our plant in Gaobu, Dongguan runs the main production steps itself, and our engineering team sits in the same workflow as the production line.
| Decision area | One Plus Display (factory) | Typical trading company |
|---|---|---|
| Structural engineering | In-house review of load path, board grade and retail rules before quoting | Requests a price from a workshop, often after the design is fixed |
| Prototipazione | Sample made on the same equipment and board as bulk production | Sample made by a third party; bulk may use a different line |
| Print and colour | Offset printing, laminating and die-cutting controlled on site | Colour responsibility passed to the sub-supplier |
| Quality responsibility | One QC team accountable from incoming board to packed pallet | Claims are negotiated between buyer, trader and workshop |
| Cost structure | Factory price with the production margin visible; die-cutting included in the unit price | Factory cost plus a trading margin, sometimes with hidden handling fees |
| Lead-time control | Production slots and material planning controlled internally | Depends on the workshop’s queue and the trader’s other orders |
If you are comparing quotations, ask each supplier who owns the die, who prints the board, who signs the pre-shipment inspection and what happens if the load test fails. The answers separate a factory from a reseller faster than any price comparison.
Inside the Dongguan plant
Our 23,000+ m² facility is set up for large-format display work rather than general commercial printing. Most production steps run under one roof:
- Prepress and structural design — artwork review, dieline development, bleed and colour separation before a plate or sample is made.
- Large-format offset printing — high-volume litho lamination for consistent brand colour across a promotion run.
- Automatic laminating and die-cutting — board is laminated and cut on automated lines to hold dimensional tolerances across thousands of units.
- CNC precision cutting — complex profiles, shaped headers and multi-material components that a standard die cannot produce cleanly.
- Gluing, assembly and packing — pre-glued and auto-forming structures, hand assembly where the design requires it, and retail-ready packing.
- Quality control — a dedicated QC team checks materials, in-process work and packed goods against the approved sample.
Because the plant also works with acrylic, PVC and metal components, a display can leave the factory as one integrated unit instead of arriving in three shipments from three vendors. That shortens the approval cycle and makes one team responsible for the final fit.
Certifications and retail audits
Large retailers do not buy a display because it looks good in a photo. They buy it because the supplier can pass an audit and trace the material. Our quality and compliance documentation includes:
- ISO 9001 — quality management system covering the production workflow.
- FSC Chain of Custody, certificate No. 0231693 — responsibly sourced paper and board, with chain-of-custody documentation for FSC-labelled projects.
- GMI — packaging quality certification used by major retailers to qualify print suppliers.
- Sedex 4P and BSCI — social-compliance audits covering labour, health and safety, and business ethics. Our Sedex and BSCI reports can be authorised for use by partners such as Disney FAMA and Carrefour.
- Walmart and Disney approved supplier listings — the site’s certificate library records both approvals, alongside a TPCH testing report.
You can review the documentation on our quality and compliance page and in the certificate library. If your retailer needs a specific report, tell us at the quotation stage so we can confirm the current version and the authorisation process before the order is placed.
MOQ, sampling and lead times
We publish working ranges rather than hiding them behind a sales call. The final schedule is always confirmed on the purchase order, because material availability and peak-season load can move the dates.
| Item | Working range | Notes |
|---|---|---|
| Minimum order | 100 pcs per design | Lower quantities can be discussed for digital-print or sample-store runs |
| White sample | 1–3 working days | After dieline and structural details are approved |
| Printed prototype | Quoted per project | Depends on print method, special finishes and multi-material components |
| Bulk production | 10–15 working days | After printed sample approval; peak season and hand assembly can add 3–7 days |
| Shipping | Sea or air, FOB/CIF quoted per project | Transit time depends on destination port and container plan |
Send product dimensions, target load, retailer format and artwork in PDF, AI, EPS, JPG or PNG (up to 10 MB through the inquiry form). If the artwork is not final, we can start from a reference image and confirm the dieline before print files are released.
Quality control and compliance
Quality is not a final inspection bolted onto the end of the line. Our QC team works through the whole order:
- Material check — board grade, liner weight and moisture resistance are checked against the approved specification before production.
- In-process checks — print colour, lamination, die-cut dimensions and glue joints are monitored as the run progresses.
- Structural testing — assembled prototypes are load-tested and drop-tested to validate the packing design before bulk production.
- Packed-goods inspection — quantity, labelling, assembly hardware and pallet configuration are checked before shipment.
- Retail compliance — where a retailer publishes a display guideline, we design and test to that guideline rather than assuming a generic specification will pass.
For heavy or liquid products, the load path is designed with a safety margin and verified on a loaded sample. For chilled, freezer-adjacent or wet-floor environments, we specify moisture-resistant board or a coated base detail. These decisions are made at the engineering stage, not discovered after the first collapsed display.
How to start a project
- Send the brief and artwork. Product dimensions, weight, target quantity, retailer, destination and any reference images. A rough sketch is enough to start.
- Get a structural concept and quote. We review the load path, board grade, print method and retail rules, then return a concept and indicative price. Our concept and design service can develop the structure from the brief.
- Approve a physical sample. A white sample validates fit and assembly; a printed prototype validates colour and finish. Nothing goes to bulk until you sign off. See prototyping.
- Produce, inspect and ship. Bulk runs on the approved specification, is checked by QC, packed for the agreed shipping method and delivered through the freight plan confirmed on the PO. See manufacturing e logistics and fulfillment.
Why brands choose One Plus Display
- Factory-direct engineering. The people who quote the project also control the board grade, print profile and load path, so the approved sample and the bulk run are made the same way.
- Multi-material capability. Corrugated, acrylic, PVC and metal can be combined in one design and assembled in one plant, which is useful for premium cosmetics, electronics and club-store formats.
- Retail audit readiness. ISO 9001, FSC, GMI, Sedex 4P, BSCI, and Walmart/Disney supplier approvals are already in place, so compliance is a document request rather than a new project.
- In-house cost control. Printing, laminating, die-cutting, CNC cutting and assembly are not marked up by a chain of subcontractors.
- Global delivery experience. We ship flat-packed or pre-filled, co-pack product at the factory, and plan pallet configurations for sea or air freight.
You can see how these capabilities appear in real projects in our case studies, including heavy-duty floor displays, pre-filled sidekicks and premium wood-finish packaging.
Cardboard display manufacturer FAQ
What is the minimum order quantity for custom cardboard displays?
Our standard MOQ is 100 pieces per design. Smaller runs can be discussed for digital printing or sample-store programmes, but the unit cost rises because the print setup is spread over fewer units.
How fast can you make a sample?
A white sample is typically ready in 1–3 working days after the dieline and structural details are approved. A printed prototype takes longer because it needs a print run and finishing; the exact timing is confirmed at quotation.
What is the production lead time for a bulk order?
Bulk production is normally 10–15 working days after the printed sample is approved. Peak-season capacity and hand assembly can add 3–7 days. The final schedule is confirmed on the purchase order.
Siete un'azienda produttrice o una società di trading?
We are a factory. Our 23,000+ m² plant is in Gaobu, Dongguan, with a sales office in Shenzhen. Printing, laminating, die-cutting, CNC cutting, assembly, QC and packing are managed in-house.
Can you produce from our existing artwork?
Yes. Send print-ready PDF, AI or EPS files with a dieline, or JPG/PNG references if the artwork is still being developed. We review bleed, colour mode and structural fit before releasing the job to production.
How much weight can a cardboard display hold?
A well-engineered four-tier corrugated floor stand commonly carries 40–60 kg in total, but the real number depends on the per-tier load, board grade, base geometry and time in store. We verify the design with a loaded sample test rather than quoting a bare board figure.
Are you FSC certified?
Yes. Our FSC Chain of Custody certificate is No. 0231693, and we can supply FSC-labelled board with the corresponding chain-of-custody documentation for qualifying projects.
Are you approved to supply Walmart or Disney programmes?
Our certificate library records Walmart and Disney approved supplier listings, together with ISO 9001, GMI, Sedex 4P, BSCI and a TPCH testing report. If your programme needs a specific audit report or authorisation, tell us before the order so we can confirm the current document.
Do you charge a separate tooling fee?
For standard corrugated displays, die-cutting is included in the quoted unit price and we do not add a separate tooling charge. If a project needs a bespoke fixture or a special multi-material component, it is itemised clearly in the quotation.
Can you ship displays pre-filled with product?
Yes. We offer co-packing at the factory: product is received, the display is assembled and loaded, and the unit is secured for transit. This reduces store labour and assembly errors, although it increases freight volume compared with flat-packed displays.
Next step
If you are sourcing a cardboard display manufacturer for a retail rollout, send us the product dimensions, target load, quantity and destination. We will return a structural concept and an indicative factory price, and flag any certification or retailer requirement that needs to be resolved before sampling.
